Giorgi Sioridze: Strong Georgia – Lelo will be present at the Constitutional Court for the proceedings regarding the banning of political parties—this will serve as a platform from which we will expose Georgian Dream

Our participation in the Constitutional Court will help draft a significant part of the political verdict against Georgian Dream, providing a legal basis for the international community and institutions to take appropriate action. This statement was made by one of the leaders of Strong Georgia – Lelo in response to the announcement that the Constitutional Court would begin reviewing the petition to ban political parties.

He added that the Constitutional Court will serve as a platform to expose Georgian Dream before the international community and the Georgian public, ensuring that the party pays a "very heavy political price."

"Starting October 21, the Strong Georgia – Lelo coalition, accompanied by its team of qualified lawyers, will be present at the Constitutional Court for the proceedings concerning the banning of political parties. We will utilize every available platform for institutional struggle. The Constitutional Court will serve as a platform from which we will expose Georgian Dream before Georgian society, the international community, and history. Our participation in the Constitutional Court will help draft a significant part of the political verdict against Georgian Dream, providing a legal basis for the international community and institutions to take appropriate action. Georgian Dream will be forced to pay a very heavy political price. This goes beyond merely banning organizations or politicians from engaging in party activities; it means stripping nearly a million voters of their right to choose. We received the support of voters who wanted to see a 1,000-lari pension in Georgia, the construction of the Anaklia Port, and the implementation of mega-projects that would have created 200,000 new jobs in our country—yet Georgian Dream tells these voters: "No." They wish to erase these voters—these citizens of Georgia—from the country, but that is impossible. The majority of Georgian citizens have concluded that the Ivanishvili regime is leading the country toward ruin—toward Russia—whereas the choice of the public is the European Union and Euro-Atlantic integration. In this endeavor, we are allies of Georgian society. We will not cease our struggle; we will continue the political fight using all legal and constitutional means, and we will see this process through to the end. The Ivanishvili regime will come to an end in this country, and we—Strong Georgia – Lelo—will be the ones who help bring this about," stated Giorgi Sioridze.
