A meeting of the Georgian Dream majority has been scheduled for 14:00 on October 17. Georgian Dream MP Levan Machavariani notes that the party's Honorary Chairman, Bidzina Ivanishvili, will also attend the meeting.

According to the MP, the majority meeting will address current events in the country, including the issue regarding the banning of political parties.

"We need to review, in general, the events taking place both within the country and abroad. A working meeting of this nature is very beneficial—especially since the Honorary Chairman will be in attendance. We must discuss all current issues, including the legal petition concerning the banning of political parties. There is nothing regarding [legislative] amendments," Machavariani stated to TV Pirveli.
