According to the same source, at the meeting, which was held in Yerevan within the framework of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, the conversation touched upon the existing relations between the two countries. Positive cooperation in the field of tourism was noted.

Attention was also paid at the meeting to the situation existing in the region. The Prime Minister of Georgia once again emphasized the particular importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts for de-escalation and the ensuring of lasting peace.
