TEKTO Enters a New Phase of Growth: Construction, In-House Manufacturing and a New Property Management Model

On March 7, 2025, TEKTO opened its new office in Batumi and presented its development strategy. The company marked the occasion alongside loyal customers, government representatives, brand ambassadors and employees. As Georgia’s construction market evolves, developers are increasingly expected not only to deliver residential projects but also to manage the processes that shape construction quality, sales and the long-term use of real estate.
TEKTO Holding is pursuing this broader approach. At an event celebrating both the opening of its Batumi office and the company’s third anniversary, the holding company presented its structure, achievements and plans for the future.
The group’s activities span construction, building-materials manufacturing, sales and marketing management within the construction industry, and emerging business lines, including property rental services. According to founder Erekle Kajaia, TEKTO’s ongoing projects have a combined construction area of 130,000 square metres, while future developments are planned to cover an additional 300,000 square metres.
The event brought together partners, customers, public-sector representatives, employees and brand ambassadors. Among the guests were TEKTO ambassadors Nona Gaprindashvili, a five-time world chess champion, and Davit Niniashvili, a member of Georgia’s national rugby team. Actress Nanuka Stambolishvili hosted the event.
The Minister of Economy also addressed the economic significance of the company’s operations. According to the minister, TEKTO’s investment exceeds GEL 100 million and the company employs more than 400 people. The minister highlighted TEKTO’s contribution to employment and economic activity in the Adjara region.
Building-materials manufacturing is a key pillar of TEKTO Holding’s operations. A company within the group produces polystyrene concrete blocks, stormwater drainage manholes, barrier blocks and slope-stabilisation blocks.
Kajaia identified the development of polystyrene concrete block production as one of the company’s technological priorities. For now, the products are used primarily in the group’s own construction projects, as current production capacity does not yet support large-scale supply to the wider market.
Another priority is the integration of international technology and expertise into construction processes.
TEKTO Construction Systems, part of the holding company, is the official representative in Georgia of German formwork manufacturer PASCHAL. The partnership enables the company to deploy modern formwork systems in its projects and share technical expertise with its construction teams.
Planning the residential environment and improving energy efficiency are also central to TEKTO’s development projects.
The group’s founder, an artist by training, places particular emphasis on architectural aesthetics and the harmonious integration of buildings into their surroundings. His vision is to create architecture that stands the test of time, preserving its aesthetic and architectural value for years to come. Two principal measures support the company’s energy-efficiency objectives: the use of polystyrene concrete blocks and smart-home systems.
