Make the cell footage public! – This is how one of the leaders of the "Federalists", Tamar Chergoleishvili, responds to the physical confrontation that reportedly occurred in the Gldani 8th Penitentiary Establishment between alleged representatives of the crime world, Davit Peikrishvili on one side, and Vato Kipiani, Avtandil Bilanishvili, and several other individuals on the other.
Chergoleishvili also writes on social media that "Bera Ivanishvili's father got him into trouble."
"Bera Ivanishvili's father got him into trouble. Arresting Vato Kipiani and Bilanishvili and beating up the Peikrishvilis won't fix that trouble. Make the cell footage public!" – writes Chergoleishvili on Facebook.
For context, according to the lawyer, defendants held in the Gldani 8th Penitentiary Establishment—so-called criminal authority Vato Kipiani, Avtandil Bilanishvili (aka "Katsro"), Shota Kipiani, Kacharava, and Gotsiridze—physically attacked accused individual Davit Peikrishvili, who is associated with criminal circles. As a result, Peikrishvili suffered injuries, including fractures. Additionally, according to the lawyer, after this confrontation occurred, Giorgi Peikrishvili, who is also held in Gldani prison in a different cell, slit his wrists "to save his brother's life."
"Davit Peikrishvili's health status is deplorable – he has four broken ribs, a fractured skull, broken facial bones, and bruises. According to him, physical injuries were inflicted by Vato Kipiani, Avtandil Bilanishvili (aka 'Katsro'), Shota Kipiani, Kacharava, and Gotsiridze. His brother Goga Peikrishvili also has injuries; he slit his wrists yesterday," stated the Peikrishvilis' lawyer, Paata Gogiashvili, in a conversation with "Formula".
As a reminder, brothers Davit and Giorgi Peikrishvili, associated with criminal circles in Tbilisi, were arrested on September 22 of this year. The arrest is linked to violence and extortion. As for Vato Kipiani, Shota Kipiani, and Avtandil Bilanishvili (so-called "Katsro"), their arrest took place on October 15, 2026. They are accused of committing group violence.
