Austria’s National Day and the 10th Anniversary of Austria’s Representation in Georgia

On October 20th, traditional Austrian National Day this year was special as it also was dedicated to 10 year anniversary of Austrian Embassy in Georgia.

Representatives of Austrian Embassy and Consulate, of Ministry of Foreigh affears of Georgia, Diplomats and honorary guests attended the special event.

Long standing cultural and economical relations between Austria and Georgia has exciidingly developed during past decades, opening of dedicated Australia Embassy and Consulate in Georgia has enhanced the bilateral relationships even further and made them even more efficient. During the event the honorable mentions were done to underline special role in further developing cooperation between countries, - Mr. Alexander Kharlamov, Managing Director of Gebruder Weiss Georgia and Honorary Consul of Austria in Georgia was presented with Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria.

Diplomats of Austrian and georgian state, representatives of Cultural and Business sectors once more evaluated achievements of recent years and discussed plans of further developments enhancing cooperations between countries.
