Badri Japaridze: We will utilize every legal avenue to once again expose the true objective of Georgian Dream - to destroy the opposition in this country

"The day after tomorrow, it will likely be our turn to speak. We will utilize every legal avenue to once again expose the true objective of Georgian Dream—to destroy the opposition in this country," Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia – Lelo coalition, stated following today’s hearing at the Constitutional Court.

According to Badri Japaridze, the proceedings currently underway at the Constitutional Court "will not lead to anything good for Georgian Dream.“

"The day after tomorrow, we will address the slander we heard from the Georgian Dream representative. It cannot be characterized in any other way.

In my view, this process will not bring anything good for Georgian Dream. The public is observing what we are dealing with here—a lawsuit that is entirely devoid of any legal basis. This is a direct continuation of political persecution, and that becomes increasingly evident with every statement made. The very content of the lawsuit is demeaning to the court, to our country, and to each of us," stated Badri Japaridze.
