Giga Avaliani's mother: Nika is being psychologically terrorized by the family of [Giorgi] Malania

"My son Nika is being psychologically terrorized by the family of [Giorgi] Malania," stated Eka Kupatadze, the mother of the murdered teacher Giga Avaliani, on PalitraNews' program 360 Degrees.

According to Kupatadze, verbal and emotional pressure is being directed at her second son, which is why Nika Avaliani no longer attends the court hearings.

"When my son Nika drove me to the court building, he left me, went away, and stayed in the car at the parking lot for two whole hours. Nika is being psychologically terrorized by the Malania family—they throw remarks at him and act provocatively. If they talk to the judge about emotional pressure regarding Malania, then isn't the judge listening to and watching all of this?! I don't want to stoop to the level of the Malanias, but one such incident that I was made to hear went like this: one of the young women came up, looked through the window of the courtroom, and said, 'I need to see our boy...' I told her, 'Come to the cemetery and I will show you my boy, too.'

After Ani Nasqidashvili's mother and lawyers saw that their psychological attack on Nika worked well [they started it first]—of course, these remarks have a great impact on us and are not easy to hear—Nika no longer goes to the court trials," stated Eka Kupatadze.
