Reuters: Democrats gain control of the Senate

With an unexpected victory in Iowa, the Democrats have solidified their control over the Senate, Reuters reports.

Notably, the Democrats secured wins in several Republican strongholds, including Texas, South Carolina, Kansas, and Ohio. As a result, they have gained six additional seats in the Senate.

Current projections indicate that the Democrats will control both chambers of Congress.
