Austrian edition publishes article on so-called South Ossetian presidential elections

The Austrian edition Der Stardard has published an article on the so-called South Ossetian presidential elections. The article says the situation in Tskhinvali region is not stable after three years from the August Georgia-Russia war.

‘The opposition is afraid of rigging the elections and threatens with revolt. President Edward Kokoity is not running for presidency after expiration of two presidential terms’, the article says.

According to the article, Kokoity and the Russian ‘Edinaia Rasia’ party support Moscow-backed candidate Anatoly Babilov.

Presidential elections are scheduled in so-called South Ossetia for 13 November.
