“At the international conference in Odesa, I met the FBI representative, whose surname I can name right now; however, you would better not publish it. Our conversation touched upon the Jvania case and the fact that one of the FBI employees included false information in the conclusion one part of which was misinterpreted in Georgia. To cut a long story short, the conclusion, on the one hand, reads that natural gas leak caused suffocation that finally resulted in Jvania’s death and on the other hand, it also asserts that a gas leak could not have caused death. So, this conclusion is a travesty and nothing more. The person with whom I was engaged in conversation, for the present moment, does not work for FBI; however, he is a former head of one of the FBI departments. As he alleged, Saakashvili definitely participated in Jvania’s assassination. In order to somehow hide this fact, they exerted a great pressure on the FBI employees. Although, precisely this particular person unclosed the secret as per which President Saakashvili was in the building where Jvania was killed”, states expert Mamuka Areshidze in his interview with newspaper “Kviris palitra”.
“This was his final word; the former FBI employee restrained from releasing any other detail on the subject. I also met the employees of Prosecutors office and, regarding the conclusive file of the Jvania case, sent particular questions to the FBI representatives. Similar “confession” which I received from the former FBI employee may be also coined in one of the archives of the Prosecutor’s Office. I am sure that, while his visit, Archil Kublashvisi touched upon Jvania’s case. I can also anticipate what makes the American side be as dumb as an oyster regarding the issue, right now; first of all, America aims at learning precisely what political course the new government has chosen and if it finds out that our authorities pursue the same foreign policy, than the U.S. authorities will release a relevant statement. This will, presumably, happen after the elections. Every one knows that, only due to the existence of two governments, the case has not been solved so far”, declares Areshidze.
“Some present high ranking officials also have the information regarding the case but because of a severe pressure, they prefer to keep silence. I hold strongly that Saakashvili is an active participant of Jvania’s assassination. The whole building, I mean Jvanias apartment, was abound with SWAT members. As for any other detail regarding the matter, for the present moment, I prefer to refrain from elaborating on them”, says the respondent.
To the question if there is any new detail regarding the Public Defender’s initiation to create a Commission on investigating Lapankhuri developments, he answers:
”Certainly, new details have emerged. By the way, many authorities try different expedients to impede the development of the investigation because of the fact that they were also somehow involved in special operations. That is the reason why the prosecution is in a standstill now. Due to this fact, Ucha Naniashvili raised the matter of creating the Commission that will keep the ongoing investigation as well as the government under strict control. Now I will introduce a new detail to you. We have known so far that only two SWAT members-Archil Chokheli and Solomon Tsiklauri-died during Lpankhuri operations. The public has not been informed until know that one more SWAT member, Rusunashvili, also was killed then. He was from Lapankhuri and participated in aforementioned special operation. The same day, after returning home, he took his life. So, the investigation must first find out whether this person really committed suicide or was simply murdered”, underscores Areshidze.
“As to the “Georgian dream”, the leadership of the party as well as the rank anfile members will soon become subject of Ivanishvili’s outrage. Ivanishvili’s dissatisfaction is caused due to the fact that “Georgian Dream” proved to be unable to be formed as a party and now it is gradually falling apart”, announces the respondent.
“The parties involved in Syria conflict, are not interested who had initiated the chemical attack. “I assume that the west will soon wrap up its operation in Syria. Russia is simply “drained from energy” and is, accordingly, unable to fight against America’s and Britain’s fleet; Russia has already squandered all the military or financial recourses …Everything must end soon. Otherwise, Iran can also interfere in ongoing processes and it will even more exacerbate the situation. In this case, Russia will try its best to protect Iran from impeding invasion from the west. In this case, a fatal danger the World War III will really impede the mankind. That is the reason why the only way out from this stalemate, is to overthrow Syria’s government as soon as possible, concludes Mamuka Areshidze.
