What pushed immovable property agencies and employment offices to the verge of closing?
"Immovable property agencies and employment offices are in trouble today. Some companies have already been closed, while others are on the verge of bankruptcy. As they claim, stiff competition in the immovable property market and a reduced number of investments has yielded these repercussions. Despite the fact that flats and commercial real estate are more actively sold, this has not brought anything good to our real estate market due to the fact that today flats are mainly sold via brokers or even without them. Thus, real estate companies have been simply sidelined from our market. As for the employment agencies, it is true that the number of job-seekers is legions; however, all bodies suffer from a deficit of qualified personnel. The fact that the people’s confidence in employment and immovable property faded away has also pushed these agencies to the verge of closing,” reports the Rezonansi gazette.
“As Real Estate Agency “Renaissance” informs, a demand for secondary housing units has fallen and this fact has created a number of problems for the agencies. The officials within the “Reality” agency do also complain because of the small number of clients. They do also emphasize that if compared with the last year, demand for secondary housing units has substantially fallen today. On top of that, low-standard service is also a sore point of our agencies,” the article says.
“We are really on the rocks today. Those selling and purchasing flats try to do this independently without the assistance from our agencies. As you know, our service is not free and they, apparently, try to be parsimonious with their budget by avoiding additional expenses. Our real estate market also abounds with agencies that are involved in an extremely aggressive competition, and this is also a stumbling block for us. Why deplete our budget when money is not circulating among us? All this is detrimental for business and for the agencies that are being closed one after another,” announces Avtandil Gugeshashvili.
“The representatives of the employment agencies allege that the largest obstacle which is placed on their path today is the deficit of qualified personnel. As they claim within the bodies, the number of job-seekers has remained the same; however, lack of qualified personnel spoils everything. “A demand for quintessential professionals has always been within different bodies and it will be in the future too. Along with education, experience is also a must – An applicant has to meet various requirements to get a desired position. One of the most demanding jobs in our agency is that of a baby-sitter. Unfortunately, we do lack professionals in this sphere too,” states one of the representatives of the company. It would also be interesting to note that the “Juti Boom” Company also agrees with the allegation as per which the companies are faced with a deficit of qualified applicants,” concludes the author of the article.
Giorgi Tavdgiridze -- Georgia is of vital importance for NATO today… the present Status Quo suggests that a neutral position can be maintained with respect to our country from both sides …
"The post which I have published on my Facebook page and which says that all this hysteria in relation to MAP and NATO serves the interests of different political parties including those of the National Movement and does not suit our country is an appeal and admonition to the Government to remain sober-headed and give the present situation a good judgment. Certain groups within our Government have conveyed a message to NATO via Appathurai and told them that they must be given credit for their performed job. Thus, they have urged NATO to release a statement that will be later used as political pidends by them,” announces expert Giorgi Tavdgiridze.
“Precisely the aforementioned message has spurred Appathurai to make a statement as per which the so-called pro-Western Ministers have restrained from raising the issue of Georgia’s integration within NATO. Only God knows what will happen at the NATO Wales Summit, however, Appathurai will definitely try to improve the situation… We are relaxed and think that these people strain to integrate Georgia within NATO; however, out of the blue, the representative of NATO releases a statement saying that they refused to even shed light on this issue. The actual fact is that today we are in deep trouble as by getting MAP we will challenge Russia. As you know, the signs of an open confrontation with Russia have already surfaced in Ukraine,” announces Mr. Tavdgiridze.
“Nowadays, we are of vital importance for NATO and, it will apparently redouble efforts to prevent Russia from extending its military presence on this unoccupied territory. Under these circumstances, the southern flank will be closed and this by all odds will be inauspicious for NATO. Thus, the power which occupies Georgia gets a great military advantage over its opponent. However, Russia has also refrained from taking radical steps in terms of Georgia. Thus, as the present Status Quo suggests, this neutral position can be maintained with respect to our country from both sides in the foreseeable future. They will not force our people to make a choice between the two sides but both of them will have to accomplish their duties,” asserts Mr. Tavdgiridze.
To the question what kind of responsibilities he is referring to, the respondent answers:
“They will not militarily intervene in the country. Thus, they will maintain a neutral position… However, time will show us everything; after the summit, it will be easier to expand on this issue.
Does detention loom over Givi Targamadze and one of the members of the National Movement?
"Gharibashvili is truly a spoon-fed and pampered child who really deems himself to be a prince; however, actually Mr. Margvelashvili is not a plasticine man out of which Gharibashvili will make any kind of figure he desires. You yourself see what heedful steps the President is taking today – he presides over the entire Security Council and… a direct message from the Republicans to the Government is that they are not in the mood to allow Gharibashvili to lead them by their noses. Today the neutral wing is completely manned with members of the Forum; however, this fact does not necessarily mean that the National Forum has undercut its ambitions and has refused to operate in our political arena in the future,” declares an anonymous representative of the Georgian Dream Coalition -- who defines himself as a non-aligned force--in his interview with the “Premier” gazette.
“Apart from the Security Council, several bodies have refused to obey to the PM and his entourage. I will not give the name of the Ministry against which they plan to hold a red-hot smear PR campaign; however, this information is completely trustworthy. Here I would note that Ivanishvili took the head of this Ministry under its wing by accident… At first sight, this Minister is harmless, but actually his body abounds with a number of black holes helping them to make money via different corrupt methods. So they are involved in tooth and nail battle to get hold of the Ministry the “Commander” of which is the former head of the Gen Inspection of the Ministry; thus,”Gray Cardinal” is within Gharibashvili’s entourage again,” alleges the anonymous respondent.
“As a matter of fact, a man who would hammer in Mr. Gharibashvili’s head that he cannot rely on police would only render him an immensely good service. He must get that he needs a political bulwark, a tower of strength on which he will rely always and everywhere. If an experienced counselor stood by Gharibashvili, he would not detain Mr. Ugulava in the run-up to the second round elections. Gigi Ugulava is not an ordinary official; he is a well-known figure in the western circles. Are you so naïve to think that the peaceful removal of Saakashvili’s Government from Georgia’s political scene is a merit of the Georgian people only? The influential people around the world simply appreciated Ivanishvili’s billions and decided to let the Nationals relax. Mr. Ivanishvili simply hates Saakashvili and precisely this overarching hatred towards him made this man stage this show. Actually he does not care about us; even more, he is jibing at us and is going to gear himself to the role of a TV program host. As for Gharibashvili, he has his head in the clouds and knows nothing about politics. That is why he was so easily swindled by Ugulava, who knew perfectly well that his incarceration would prompt a strong reaction from the West,” contends the respondent.
"One of the members of the Georgian Dream Coalition could also be easily detained soon. This will give the Dream Government a pretext to allege that they don’t avoid jailing their members. A representative of the National Movement, Givi Targamadze, does also stand a chance of being imprisoned. As you know this person is in Giorgi Gharibashvili’s bad books…And it’s without question that neither the Georgian people nor the West will raise an eyebrow at Mr. Targmadze’ incarceration, “concludes the respondent.
