MP Vano Zardiashvili calls Ana Dolidze’s statement “absurd”

My wife started to work in the High Council of Justice when I did not even think that I would be in politics, - Vano Zardiashvili, a member of the parliamentary majority, said in response to Ana Dolidze, a member of the Supreme Council of Justice, who believes that Vano Zardiashvili's wife should resign.

Vano Zardiashvili called Dolidze's opinion that his wife may influence the appointment of judges

“absurd”.

Zardiashvili considers that Ana Dolidze is trying to cover the "President’s horrible pardon acts".

"My wife has been working in that department for more than 8 years. She started to work there from the first level, as a specialist. As for why Ana Dolidze needs these statements, we know that she is a representative of the President to the High Council of Justice and is doing everything to cover the terrible pardon acts of President Margvelashvili in connection with Koridze and Bakradze.

Ana Dolidze said that the director of the department of assessment of judges’ performance should resign, as she is the wife of the Deputy Chairman of Parliament’s Legal Issues Committee and a relative of the Georgian Dream faction leader.
