Dmitri Medoev says key directions of foreign policy will not be changed by the change of presidents in Georgia

The key directions of the foreign policy will not be changed by the change of presidents in Georgia, - said Dmitri Medoev, de facto foreign minister of the occupied Tskhinvali region.
"Elections in neighboring Georgia is the internal affair of the Georgian state and it has nothing to do with South Ossetia. However, we carefully observe the pre-election campaign, as the political processes there directly influence the security of our country. But whatever the results of the elections are, nothing will change in the Georgian politics in respect of South Ossetia," Medoev said.
According to him, the pre-election debates proved that the anti-Russian and anti- Ossetian propaganda and the topic of Russian occupation are popular among voters and all candidates are using it.
"Therefore, statements about the changes in the relations with Russia or South Ossetia are just a fiction," Medoev said.
