Eka Gigauri says judicial candidates’ statement is good example for Chinchaladze-Murusidze clan

The public protest has brought its results, but it is not enough,- Eka Gigauri, Executive Director of Transparency International – Georgia (TI), said while commenting on the joint statement of the Supreme Court judicial candidates.

As Gigauri told InterPressNews, this is a very good lesson for the Chinchaladze-Murusidze clan and those members of the High Council of Justice who support this list to leave the system on their own initiative.

“The public protest has brought its result, but it is not enough. This is a very good lesson for the Chinchaladze-Murusidze clan and those members of the High Council of Justice who support this list to submit resignation letters and leave the system on their own initiative.

They should allow the fair judges in the court to serve justice. The fight always has a sense and we will continue this fight until the judges like Murusudzes leave our court,” Eka Gigauri said.
