As the Shepherd’s Georgian lawyer explains, the British side will formally be informed about the decision of the detainee.

" Jack Shepherd refused a simplified extradition procedure and chose a Georgian prison instead of returning to the United Kingdom where he is in danger,” Kublashvili said.

The lawyer underlined that the criminal charges filed against Jack Shepherd in the UK does not consider crime in Georgia. “In this case a person can not be extradited. That is why it is important to study his criminal case. We should involve international organizations in this case materials,” Mariam Kublashvili said.
