Georgian national anthem to be played in squares, trains and buses at 5:10pm on May 26

The Georgian national anthem will be performed throughout the country to mark the Independence Day at 5:10pm on May 26.

As the organizers of the events planned for May 26 say, the anthem will be played throughout the country – in the squares, in the public transport, including in trains and buses.

Noe Zhordania congratulated the Georgian society on the creation of the first independent republic and signed the Act of Independence of Georgia at 5:10pm in 1918.

The organizers call on the population of Georgia to gather in the main squares of the country on May 26 to perform the Georgian national anthem together.
