MIA : One Georgian citizen killed, another – injured in Tusheti road accident

One citizen of Georgia was killed and another was injured after a vehicle fell from a height in Tusheti, the mountainous region in northeastern Georgia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has said.

“Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the car accident occurred on the 18th km of Pshaveli-Omalo road. The investigation has opened under Paragraph V, Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia,” the MIA said.

According to the Ministry the vehicle driver, who is the citizen of Georgia, was killed in the road accident and a passenger, who is also the citizen of Georgia, has been hospitalized with multiple injuries.
