Gavrilov has never participated in any hostilities in Abkhazia, said Sergey Gavrilov, the member of the Russia’s State Duma, who leads the Russian delegation at Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy.
Gavrilov believes that Russia and Georgia should resume relations in another direction, too.
"I think we should contribute not only to tourism and business but also in culture, and I want to reply to the fake news released by the Georgian media : Gavrilov has never participated in any hostilities in the territory of Abkhazia. It’s lie,” Gavrilov said.
