Grigol Vashadze, Chairman of the “National Movement”, calls on the authorities to meet the people’s demands as soon as possible and to launch a political dialogue with the opposition.
Vashadze said at a briefing on Tuesday that they want neither revenge nor unrest, but they are ready for dialogue.
“I call on you to meet the people’s demand as soon as possible, and then, to move to the political dialogue, if you do not want to sacrifice the state and public peace for your stubbornness and the attempt to save Gakharia [Interior Minister] and other offenders. We want neither revenge nor unrest, but we are ready for dialogue,” Grigol Vashadze said.
He called on the authorities to discuss the current “systemic crisis” and “topical issues”, which are the subject of concern for the population of Georgia, in the Parliament.
