Tamar Sadzaglishvili has been charged with intentional infliction of serious bodily injuries to a minor and with attempting to cause serious injury to another one, lawyer Alexi Gabunia told InterPressNews.
According to him, the detainee was officially charged today. The lawyer claims that due to mental problems, his client does not remembers the incident.
“She does not remember this fact. She told the investigator that she remembered that she was walking on Pekini Street but did not remember the incident. I think it is because of her mental problems. She denies that she had a knife,” Gabunia said.
The lawyer says that he will request the psychiatric-psychological examinationunless the investigation conducts it.
“You know, the investigation is underway. We don't know whether the examination has been appointed. If the investigation does not schedule, we will request it,” the lawyer said adding that the defence requests terminate a criminal prosecution until the examination is completed.
