Rescuers recovered bodies of two missing people from Jandara Lake

Rescuers have recovered the bodies of two missing people from Jandara Lake, the Emergency Management Service said on Wednesday.

The search efforts underway for three days on Jandara Lake. Appropriate equipment, helicopters, drones and manpower, including diving groups were mobilized on the ground.

“The Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was conducting the underwater monitoring of the lake using special equipment. The search operation was carried out on the territories of Georgia and Azerbaijan,” the statement reads.

Two people went missing on Jandara Lake on December 2.
