Giorgi Margvelashvili : I see the danger of a total weakness and helplessness of the government, which will lead us to some excesses

I see the danger of a total weakness and helplessness of the government, which will lead us to some excesses, ex-president of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili said, answering the question about the confrontation between the activists and supporters of the government and opposition.

Giorgi Margvelashvili considers the ongoing processes are linked to the inexperience of the government.

“The people in power today have never been in politics, unfortunately they have not even watched the political processed on television. Otherwise, they would have known that following such rallies and counter-rallies people abjure their government, they would have known that doing it is very dangerous for the country as well as for them personally. I see the danger of a total weakness and helplessness of the government, which will lead us to some excesses. These excesses can be uncomfortable, but I do not see the threat of civil confrontation,” Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
