Defendant Giorgi Rurua, one of the shareholders of the Main Channel, has again been left in custody. The decision has recently been announced by Tbilisi City Court Judge Valerian Bugianishvili.

The motion of the defence to change the measure of restraint has been opposed by the prosecution, which said that today's interrogation of the witness had not revealed any new circumstances and that threats still remained in place. The judge also stated that no new circumstance had been identified, which would have made it possible to change the strictest measure with bail.
