According to the Minister of Economy, Natia Turnava, the issue of regulations was discussed at the meeting between the economic team of the government and the representatives of the restaurant business.

According to the Minister, due to the increase in the number of infected people, the government is considering certain restrictions and is consulting with businesses before making a decision.

"It is known worldwide that this is an industry where there is the greatest mobility of people, and therefore when we have a second wave, the number of infected people increases and we have to think about some restrictions, but we do not want to make this decision without consulting business, because we also understand that they are under a lot of pressure due to the economic difficulties caused by the pandemic. However, we agree that the pandemic is doing a lot more harm to these businesses because people are reluctant to go to a restaurant, to go to the mall, so we all agree that we should use all measures to break this trend in terms of the growth of infected people.
