Minister of Economy says all restrictions on international flights are planned to be lifted from February

According to the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, all restrictions on international flights are planned to be lifted from February. The above was announced by the Minister during the presentation of the 2020 activity report of the agency.

She said that despite the pandemic, infrastructure projects implemented by the Ministry of Economy have not been hampered, including airport expansion projects.

"The project to expand Kutaisi and Batumi International Airports will soon be completed, and we plan to lift all restrictions on international flights as early as February, and the upgraded infrastructure will host visitors and serve our citizens," the Minister said.
