Prime Minister held a working meeting on the vaccination action plan

The work on the vaccination action plan is practically completed, - another working meeting regarding the final details of the plan was held today in the government administration headed by the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

As the government administration informed InterPressNews, the meeting discussed in detail the vaccination plan and information about the target groups, who will be vaccinated in the first place. The plan also includes logistics or operational issues related to vaccination. The document will be discussed by the Interagency Coordinating Council next week.

At the same time, the discussion touched upon the steps that are being taken to introduce the vaccine in Georgia. It was reiterated that intensive work is underway to introduce the vaccine in the country as soon as possible, and the main precondition for this is the qualification of the World Health Organization and the international recognition of the vaccine.
