The issue of who should be in prison and who should be released will not be the subject of an agreement between the parties and the leaders - this is clearly a matter for the justice system, - the Chairman of the Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, told journalists, answering the question about the detainees in the case of Davit Gareji.

According to Archil Talakvadze, this issue is not on the agenda of the negotiations.

"We have always had a consistent response to this, in accordance with the Constitution and the principles of the rule of law. The same can be said today - the issue of who should be in prisoned and who should be released will not be the subject of an agreement between the parties and the leaders - this is clearly a matter for the justice system. Of course, we can not and will not enter into any discussions with the opposition in this regard, as we respect the rule of law", - said Archil Talakvadze.
