Strategy Builder: We believe we should sign the document proposed by our impartial and fair Western mediators

We, Strategy Builder, as a responsible opposition party, believe that we should use the window of opportunity created by the joint struggle and sign the document proposed by our impartial and fair Western mediators, - the Strategy Builder says in a statement.

As the party points out, the submitted 5-point document is not perfect.

"We, Strategy Builder, as a responsible opposition party, believe that we should use the window of opportunity created by the joint struggle and sign the document proposed by our impartial and fair Western mediators, which despite its shortcomings that are conditioned by the nature of compromise, can be turned into a turning point for big changes.

We have the support of two main factors in this struggle: first is our citizens and their unwavering will to live in a free and strong state and second is the support of our Western partners to make Georgia a strong, free and democratic state.

An agreement by its very nature implies compromises and that is why the five-point document is not perfect. It contains shortcomings, but overall the agreement creates conditions for the rapid removal of the Georgian Dream with less damage to our country.

I understand the emotional attitudes towards certain issues, as well as the groups that were guided by certain maxims in the decision-making process, but the motivation of the Strategy Builder to reach an agreement stems not from the emotional or radical, but from real and pragmatic perception of the reality.

My friends, we try to use all the means to fight against the Georgian Dream - the greatest injustice and, most importantly, to create the necessary preconditions for victory.

It is very important that political persecution should end in the country and people arrested for this reason should be released;

It is very important that the self-government elections could turn into a major civil movement to oust the Georgian Dream from power; that the country should have a free and impartial judiciary and a depoliticized law enforcement system; that the country should have fair and democratic elections, a more impartial and free electoral system;

Yes, agreement on the above is a prerequisite for victory”.

According to the statement, the proposed document “is not a victory, but in the current situation it creates favorable conditions for the victory.”
