There are small holes where the Georgian Dream is trying to put mines, but it will not work, as the agreement must be implemented, - Sergo Chikhladze, one of the leaders of Strategy Builder, said when commenting on the amnesty bill.

According to him, if the Georgian Dream violates the agreement, "it will have to pay a very high political price."

“The Georgian Dream will try to interpret the bill and to write vague articles in it, but this bill will ultimately be improved. We will lobby for our bill and we will try our best to have our bill supported. Otherwise, we will have a dispute over each point, each sentence. But the main thing is the purpose of the adoption of this amnesty – that is to release political prisoners. Accordingly, one political prisoner has been released, the other - Nika Melia will also be released, whether the Georgian Dream wants it or not, it is just a matter of time. My view is that it would be best for Melia to agree to the EU bail and leave prison quickly. In this case, we, the opposition, would be more open about the amnesty bill, we would not be limited in time and would have more space. Otherwise we will try to pass the amnesty bill in the shortest possible time, in a way that is acceptable to the public," Chikhladze said.
