According to the party "For Georgia", Tsageri mayoral candidate Beso Bendeliani's car was shot this morning.
Natia Mezvrishvili, one of the leaders of the party stated about it at the briefing.
Mezvrishvili blames the leaders of the Georgian Dream, the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General.
"The party For Georgia is practically unable to conduct a pre-election campaign. Tsageri mayoral candidate Beso Bendeliani's car was shot a week before the elections this morning. The responsibility for this lies entirely with the leadership of the "Dream", Kobakhidze, Kaladze, Gharibashvili, who justify violence on a daily basis and encourage hate speech. Naturally, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Gomelauri, the Prosecutor General, Shotadze, are responsible for this, as they do not respond to the systemic crime, about which we officially made a statement a few days ago.
They have not yet responded to the fact of planting arms against Akaki Bartaia and threats made against him during his detention. Moreover, these people dare and restrict Bartaia's right to defense. Unfortunately, such inaction of the "Dream" led us to Dmanisi a few days ago and now to the shooting of a car in Tsageri. Nobody knows how far all this will take us on election day", - Mezvrishvili said.
As Mezvrishvili noted, the party rules out that the shooting of Beso Bendeliani's car may be related to his personal activities as it is only related to his political activities.
"Investigative actions are underway. The police have been called and I have high hopes that the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General will respond to this serious fact before it gets worse and people's lives become at risk", - Mezvrishvili said.
