According to Albert Jonsson, Head of the OSCE / ODIHR EOM, in the first round there was an aggravation of offensive and negative rhetoric and in the second round it was manifested in the call of large parties to end each other.
As he noted at the press conference, in the last days of the campaign, the negative campaign in the media and on the social network has sharply increased.
In addition, Albert Jonsson noted that the candidates had the opportunity to run the campaign freely. According to him, the media environment was still polarized during the second round of elections. Jonsson added that some TV stations tried to hold the debate, but to no avail.
