"We are ready to consult with opposition groups if they are focused on business and present arguments that constitutional amendments are needed for the country with appropriate reservations," said Anri Okhanashvili, chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs.
According to him, constitutional amendments have been initiated, however, they were not obliged to do so.
"We did this in order to take a positive step towards depolarization, in contrast to the radicalization that continues to this day. We have to take positive steps and we are ready for it, but on the other hand, the response is not adequate. We are ready to consult with opposition groups if they are focused on business and content and present arguments proving that amendments with appropriate reservations are necessary for the country. We agreed to discuss the issues in detail," Okhanashvili said.
