The trial of the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili in the case of illegal crossing of the state border of Georgia will be held today.

The hearing will be held in Tbilisi City Court at 12:00.

Mikheil Saakashvili will attend the trial.

The evidence of the prosecution will be examined at the hearing.

Four more people - Elguja Tsomaia, Zurab and Shalva Tsotsoria and Giorgi Narimanidze - have been charged in the case. Their case is being held separately. Their measure of restraint was changed and they were released on bail.
