Many successfully implemented projects have given new impetus to the strengthening of the Georgian military industry, the process of renewal of the Georgian aviation is underway. The military bases and logistics of our country are being updated according to the new standards, said the Minister of Defense, Juansher Burchuladze, speaking at the event on the occasion of Georgian Defense Forces Day.

As the Minister noted, the construction and success of modern defense forces is based on the professionalism and dedication of many different generations of soldiers.

"Mr. Prime Minister, Mr. Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Commander of the Defense Forces, Mr. Generals, Officers, Sergeants, Corporals and Private, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen. I would like to greet everyone at today's event and congratulate you on Defense Forces Day. I would like to congratulate all the representatives of the Defense Forces on this day. Our brave soldiers who have repeatedly shown their professionalism and fighting spirit in the fight for our country. You are very respectable people for our country and people. Many of you have endured many hardships. Many of you heroically defended the integrity and sovereignty of our country. You, servicemen, proudly bear the name of our army, as befits one of the most important symbols of your state, the Defense Forces. Together with you we will continue and strengthen the proper equipment of our troops and raise the level of readiness. Steps taken in recent years have strengthened the country's defense capabilities and significantly improved the social conditions of military personnel and their families. Many successfully implemented projects have given new impetus to the strengthening of the Georgian military industry, the process of renewal of the Georgian aviation is underway. The military bases and logistics of our country are being updated according to the new standard.

Our goal is to further strengthen this process and get an even better armed, trained and valued army.

The construction and success of modern defense forces is based on the professionalism and dedication of many different generations of soldiers. Today I would like to congratulate our veterans who have served our country with dignity and some of them are still active in the ranks of the Defense Forces.

Also, today I would like to congratulate the wounded soldiers who have sacrificed health care for our country. Their contribution to the success and freedom of our country, as well as to the fight for world peace, is very much appreciated.

The heroism of the fallen soldiers is an example of courage and thirst for freedom for the Georgian army. I would like to bow before their memory. Our society and our army will never forget them. It is such examples that show everyone that our country will always fight to the end - for freedom.

Our international partners make a great contribution to the formation of the modern Georgian army. I would like to thank them for their unwavering support of Georgia and our Defense Forces. Nowadays, when war is raging in the Black Sea region, it is important to further strengthen the partnership. I am confident that our close cooperation with partners will be further enhanced in the future.

I once again congratulate each soldier and the Georgian society as a whole today. We wish our country, defense forces and each of you strength and success," said Burchuladze.
