The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili will visit the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with the delegation on May 28-29.

According to the Government Administration, during the visit, the Prime Minister, together with Prince Ghazi, will take part in the official ceremony of handing over plot of land to Georgia at the place of baptism of the Savior near the Jordan River.

"On the land, the area of ​​which is 4 thousand square meters, with the blessing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II, a Georgian cultural center will be built. During the visit, the head of Government will also hold high-level meetings with senior officials of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan," the statement said.
