Davit Berdzenishvili, one of the leaders of the Republican Party, arrived in the Parliament, where he challenged Irakli Kobakhidze to a debate.
"What can I say to Kobakhidze personally, I said what I needed to tell to such kind of people a long ago. I came to the Parliament because this Parliament doesn't belong to Kobakhidze, this space is very close to me, I have spent half of my life here. You are all here. If he thinks I am speaking on his territory, you can call him, let Kobakhidze and I stand here and hold a live debate on all the televisions on the issue he raised today," Berdzenishvili said.
For information, today Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream, said that Berdzenishvili's statements were an attack and an assault on national identity.
"What does Levan Berdzenishvili know about history and its understanding? He does not know it, and that's why he is making these statements," Kobakhidze said.
