Giorgi Vashadze: Kobakhidze is in no hurry, but we are in a hurry, the Georgian Dream has a deadline until July 3 and it is very important what answer we will get

The Georgian Dream has a deadline until July 3 and it is very important what answer we will get. We are already thinking of our actions in case of both positive and negative answers. In my opinion, our area of operation will be much wider and sharper, Giorgi Vashadze, chairman of Strategy Builder, said in Brussels.

According to Vashadze, the Georgian Dream is deliberately trying to replace the government of national consent with a technical government, but there is a "huge difference between the two" and the idea of a government of national consent has the full support of European partners.

"The oligarchy is in no hurry, they have to maintain the oligarchic regime and make more money. However, the Georgian people are really in a hurry to join the European Union because it is directly proportional to a normal, human and worthy living environment. Of course, Irakli Kobakhidze is in no hurry, but we are in a hurry. That is why we must be at the rally on July 3 and join the common, national process that has begun in Georgia. The Georgian Dream has a deadline until July 3 and it is very important what answer we will get. We are already thinking of our actions in case of both positive and negative answers. In my opinion, our area of operation will be much wider and sharper.

The Georgian Dream is deliberately trying to replace the government of national consent with a technical government, but there is a big difference between the two. The government of national consent should be staffed by December with professionals who can specifically implement all 12 recommendations. This idea has the full support of our European partners and is the path to depolarization that Georgia needs. The Georgian Dream has time to agree on this and I hope they will come to their sense," said Giorgi Vashadze.
