Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze calls the Public Defender's statement regarding Russian citizens unbelievable.

As Kobakhidze mentioned, Nino Lomjaria is an anti-ombudsman, not an ombudsman.

"This is an unbelievable statement. It is unbelievable that a person called a public defender is directly involved in a xenophobic campaign. It is obvious that this person is not an ombudsman, but an anti-ombudsman. She confirmed this with today's statement", Kobakhidze said.

Xenophobia, especially aggression, or physical confrontation against people of different origin is unacceptable - if Kobakhidze has specific facts, any citizen can apply to the Public Defender, Public Defender Nino Lomjaria said earlier today, while evaluating the statement of Georgia­n Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze about the xenophobic and chauvinistic campaign in Georgia. As Lomjaria told journalists, it is natural that Georgian citizens have a negative attitude towards the Russian Government and citizens.
