Giga Bokeria: There has been a reason for a long time to think that there is direct contact between high-ranking officials of the special services of Georgia and the special services of the enemy

For me, as a citizen and a representative of the political opposition, there has long been a reason for a long time to think that there is direct contact between high-ranking officials of the special services of Georgia and the special services of the enemy, Giga Bokeria, Chairman of European Georgia, said at the briefing.

According to Bokeria, when it comes to special services, you either work against the enemy or you work for the enemy.

"Unfortunately, we saw another example when the enemy of our country, the occupier, the country that is the main threat to the existence of our country and the free world as a whole, most likely has in its hands a document that should be kept in the state agencies of Georgia and should not have been available to the enemy. This is just one of the cases. Everything started long ago. After Bidzina Ivanishvili came to power, a whole series of authentic documents belonging to the special services of our country were published in the Russian press, in the Izvestia newspaper. After that there was the case of Tsertsvadze. We also had a case in Tbilisi, when the Russian special services almost killed the former officer of the Georgian special services, a patriot of the country, Khangoshvili. He had to leave Georgia as he was not safe here.

For me, as a citizen and a representative of the political opposition, there has long been a reason for a long time to think that there is direct contact between high-ranking officials of the special services of Georgia and the special services of the enemy,” said Bokeria.

According to him, dangers coming from Russia are increasing every day.

"Bidzina Ivanishvili, in order to maintain his power and property, leaves us alone with the most dangerous and evil enemy - Putin's Russia, with a country that is a threat to our country's existence, that committed genocide against us and that is an example of cruelty in the free world. If this is not called treason, when you trade the fate of your country for your personal interests, what else can be called treason?” he said.

The statement comes after the Main Channel reported that the personal case of a Georgian officer was obtained by the Russian special services. According to the TV company, the occupation regime has full access to Mikheil Kamkhadze's data, which should have been kept in the Ministry of Defence.
