Pawel Herczynski: The accusations concerning the opening of the second front is so absurd that I don't think I should even comment, it's simply pure nonsense

The accusations concerning the opening of the second front is so absurd that I don't think I should even comment, the new Ambassador of the European Union in Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, said in an exclusive interview with InterPressNews.

According to him, the European Union is a piece project.

“We have received a Nobel Peace Prize not long ago. So, these accusations are rubbish. I'm sorry to be as blunt as possible”, he said.

In addition, as he noted, the European Union is an organization that has always been a strong supporter of Georgia's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“This accusation is so absurd that I don't think I should even comment. It's simply pure nonsense. European Union has been always the strongest supporter of independence of Georgia and sovereignty of Georgia and territorial integrity of Georgia. Let me remind you that last week, our monitoring mission in Georgia celebrated 14th anniversary. It's 14 years that you have the EU mission, making sure that there is stability and there is progress when it comes to the breakaway regions. We are also co-chairing the Geneva international discussions that aim to resolve these outstanding issues," said the Ambassador.
