I can say that today I had the opportunity to conduct a physical and neurological examination of President Saakashvili, said American expert Shahin Lakhan.

"I still have to hold a meeting with my colleagues, other doctors and experts before I publish the final report," said Lakhan.

The expert refrained from answering the journalist's question about Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition.

"I must respect the confidentiality of the relationship between the doctor and the patient. At this moment, I cannot speak about his health. Let's wait for the results of all the examinations", Lakhan added.

The expert noted that he plans to visit Saakashvili in the future as well and "further studies will definitely be conducted".
