Aleko Elisashvili: I am absolutely delighted with some of the ambassadors of Georgia, but I would not even let some of the ambassadors take care of geese

I am absolutely delighted with some of the ambassadors of Georgia, but I would not even let some of the ambassadors take care of geese, Citizens MP Aleko Elisashvili stated at the plenary session of the Parliament, where MPs are listening to Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili in the Minister's Hour format.

Elisashvili asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs a question about the Georgian ambassadors appointed in different countries and the effectiveness of their work.

"The fact is, we are a small poor country. We don't have an ambassador everywhere. We know that some ambassadors cover several countries at the same time, and it is even a luxury that a poor country like ours is represented by ambassadors in many countries, and as a rule, they should work very efficiently and all of them should serve the state. I personally did not do a lot of research, I have been on several visits together with the parliamentary delegation and met with several ambassadors. I was and still am absolutely delighted with some of them, but I would not even let some of the ambassadors take care of geese. Well, one of them is no longer an ambassador thanks God. Besides, I have heard a lot of rumors about various ambassadors, that some are only trying to improve their own life, etc. But I won't talk about rumours. I'm wondering if you have any criteria to judge who is doing well and who is doing poorly," said Aleko Elisashvili.
