President starts her visit to France

The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili started her visit to France. According to the Presidential Administration, the President of Georgia is being personally hosted by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

A face-to-face meeting between the President of Georgia and the Secretary General will be held today. Before that, the President of Georgia will participate in the World Forum for Democracy, which is held annually under the patronage of the Council of Europe and the French Government.

"This year, the purpose of the Democracy Forum is to reveal the main factors of the decline of democracy and find ways to solve this issue.

As part of her working visit to France, meetings are scheduled with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Prime Minister of Iceland," reads the information.
