Giorgi Chaladze withdraws his candidacy for the position of chairman of National Movement

Giorgi Chaladze withdrew his candidacy for the position of chairman of the National Movement. Chaladze told the journalists about this.

As he explains, the primary issue now is to save the former President, Mikheil Saakashvili.

"President Saakashvili's issue is the only one on which full concentration is necessary, therefore, everything else is secondary for me. Today, I listened to Levan Khabeishvili's speech, unfortunately, I was in meetings and could not have a personal conversation with him, it is necessary to sit together and talk, this case should have started last year, on October 3, and the topic of President Saakashvili should be the first, it is the issue of the European future of our country. Accordingly, I would like to say that I withdraw my candidacy, I will no longer put forward my candidacy in the elections, but I would like to point out here that no headquarters, formal decoration, structural units, or anything else is needed, it should be a broad consensus, we need a process for President Saakashvili, not for someone else.

I hope that the party and other resources will support me so that we can save the President of our country together," said Chaladze.
