The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, demands the immediate release of the former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili and his medical treatment abroad.

“The critical physical condition of Mikheil Saakashvili is extremely concerning.

Torturing an opposition leader to death is unacceptable for a country that wants to join the European Union. Saakashvili must be immediately released and sent abroad for medical treatment”, she tweeted.
