Zurab Abashidze responded to the story aired on "Nodar Meladze's Saturday" and said that the information that he secretly conducted negotiations with the Russian side in Moscow in 2012-2022 is a lie.

"On February 4, a report about my work was broadcast on TV Pirveli. In this regard, I consider myself obliged to inform the public of the following: against the background of dramatic music and photos of the Kremlin, without any real facts and with skillful manipulations, the emphasis was placed on the negotiations that I allegedly conducted secretly with the Russian side in Moscow in 2012-2022. I categorically state that this is a lie.
