Our main interest is that Georgia should follow the rules, like all other European countries, - the Ambassador of Greece to Georgia, Maria Theodorou, said in a conversation with journalists after the meeting with the Minister of Justice.

"We had a meeting with the Minister of Justice to get information about the latest events regarding Mikheil Saakashvili after the decision of the Strasbourg court. As always, our conversation was very productive and friendly, and I think we heard a lot of clarification regarding this situation.

We are not doctors, we get information like everyone else - from the media, etc. Our main interest is that Georgia should follow the rules, like all other European countries, Georgia should respect the rights of all citizens. This is our main interest", said Theodorou.

Regarding the decision of the Strasbourg court, Theodorou said that "we are not lawyers" and "the Minister of Justice made the whole picture quite clear".
