The leader of the Droa party, Elene Khoshtaria, was released from the temporary detention center in Tbilisi.

According to Khoshtaria, the police forcefully and insultingly arrested the activists who defended the country's honor at Kvareli Lake.

"What we saw yesterday in Kvareli was the action of traitors who defended the right of the occupier to dance in our country. Accordingly, they went beyond not only the Constitution and the law, but also insulted all fallen heroes and citizens of Georgia. After that, they violently and insultingly arrested the activists who defended the country's dignity. Therefore, I fully consciously, with full responsibility declare that this will continue like this. I went to confront the police officer purposefully and specifically asked for a lawyer to be allowed in with the activists at that moment. That's the answer they will get every time. Being a police officer is not just having a uniform, being a police officer is not serving Bidzina Ivanishvili and Lavrov, being a police officer is to protect the honor of the country and the law that they broke, there will always be a reaction to that," said Khoshtaria.

Khoshtaria also responded to the information spread by the Public Defender, Levan Ioseliani, according to which she refused to meet with the representative of the Ombudsman. According to Khoshtaria, the Public Defender is "Bidzina Ivanishvili's servant".

"I personally do not have any complaints with those who arrested me in Kakheti. However, the process itself was humiliating for them. They were running around, taking me somewhere... By the way, I must say that two representatives of the Public Defender came, who saw how they took me in a certain direction, and unfortunately, the Public Defender did not make any statement about it. The Public Defender is Ivanishvili's servant," Khoshtaria said.
