Volodymyr Zelensky: I am sure that the Ukrainian and Georgian people will de-occupy their territories and will return just peace to Ukraine and Georgia

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, congratulates Georgia on the Independence Day and states that Ukraine has always consistently supported and will continue to support Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. The first person of Ukraine sent a letter of congratulations to the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili.

According to Zelensky, he is sure that the Ukrainian and Georgian people will de-occupy their territories.

"On behalf of the Ukrainian people and myself, I sincerely wish you a happy Independence Day.

The relationship between our peoples is based on mutual assistance and respect. This is especially important in the context of Russia's full-scale predatory armed aggression against Ukraine.

Our state has always consistently supported and will continue to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders.

I am sure that the Ukrainian and Georgian people will de-occupy their territories, return just peace to Ukraine and Georgia and security to the Black Sea region. Dear Ms. President, I wish you good health and success in your state activities, and peace and prosperity to the Georgian people!" - reads the letter.
